Delivery and hosting
Requests to this website involve processing connection data needed for technical delivery, including the IP address, time, requested address, browser information and the request outcome. The server may record access, error and security events. This processing supports delivery, troubleshooting and protection against abuse.
The hosting provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The provider publishes further information in its privacy notice.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Retention depends on whether the data is still needed for technical delivery, resolving an incident, or investigating and preventing a security incident. Where further retention is necessary to meet legal obligations or establish or defend specific legal claims, this is an additional criterion for deletion.
Language and color theme
The website can store an explicitly selected language and light/dark theme in your browser's localStorage:
| Key | Value | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
aura-locale |
de or en |
Restore your chosen language on a subsequent visit |
aura-theme |
light or dark |
Restore your chosen color theme |
These values are not sent to the server and are not used to recognize you across websites. They remain until replaced or until you delete the website data in your browser. Without a stored selection, display preferences follow the available browser/system defaults. The website remains usable without stored preferences.
Storage access provides the preferences you explicitly requested under section 25(2), point 2, of Germany's TDDDG. Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the interest is providing these preferences.
Search and live editor
Documentation search runs locally in your browser. A search index is downloaded from this website; search terms are not sent to a server as search requests.
The live editor executes AURA using the locally loaded WebAssembly runtime in your browser. Edited source code and interactions with the examples are not sent to a server for execution. Downloading runtime files involves the connection data described under hosting. Editor content remains in memory while the page is open; the website does not store it as a user account or server-side project.
No embedded tracking services
The website does not embed analytics or advertising trackers, newsletter forms, remotely loaded webfonts or social-media plugins. Required website and demo files are loaded from the same origin. External links contact the respective provider only when opened; that provider's privacy terms then apply.
Email contact
When you contact the operator by email, your sender address and message content are processed to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is responding to the request. Data is retained only for as long as handling the request and any necessary records require, or statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, your rights include:
- access to your personal data (Article 15 GDPR),
- correction of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR),
- erasure and restriction of processing (Articles 17 and 18 GDPR),
- data portability where applicable (Article 20 GDPR),
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR),
- withdrawal of any consent given, with effect for the future,
- lodging a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
You may use the contact address above to exercise your rights. The Lower Saxony data-protection authority provides additional information about data-subject rights in German.
Required data and automated decisions
Technical connection data is necessary to retrieve the website. Additional information sent by email is voluntary; without a way to contact you, a reply may not be possible. The website does not use automated decisions with legal effects or profiling.
